Your host
My name is Oliver and I’m very pleased to be your host. I have been living in Berlin since 1997 and have enjoyed every minute of being here. I have resided in this apartment since April 2004 together with my dog Chicco, a „Prager Rattler“ – the size of a dwarf rabbit (1,7 kg). I’ve decorated and arranged the apartment so that it’s comfortable, but there is always something to improve. I adore this city with all it has to offer – culture, bars, restaurants, Berlin clubs or even a bit of opera.
Kurfürstendamm is just a 3 minute walk from the apartment, and is a shopper’s paradise. A special tip is KaDeWe (Shopping Mall of the West), the biggest shop on the European continent which turns shopping into a worthwhile experience. My personal recommendation for the summer is Teufelsberg with its lovely lake in the forest. It’s perfect for getting a bit of colour and for a refreshing dip. I especially enjoy going for a cocktail in Zeitlos in der Schlüterstrasse or relaxing in the cozy Thomas-Eck. Fridays is the night for an XXXL-schnitzel in Pestalozzistrasse.
About myself: I’m a very open-minded person in his 40’s that enjoys the company of others. Renting a room gives me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. I speak German but unfortunately, only a little English … nevermind, there is always the universal language of hands and feet. I look forward to your visit! |
