The apartmentThe apartment is in a large, well-kept old corner house with a quiet, lovingly-tended courtyard. Very generous, bright and quiet 5-room attic apartment with a living area of 200 m². AEG, originally the German Edison Company was established in Wedding in 1887. Was the famous imposter and prankster Captain of Köpenick ever in Wedding? Yes, indeed he was. On 13th October 1906 the shoemaker, Wilhelm Voigt, disguised himself as a Prussian captain and, taking command of ten soldiers, went to Köpenick where he went down in history. It was there that he robbed the city treasury and was sentenced to four years in prison the following December. In 1927 the world famous architect, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe built four "living cubes" in the Afrikanische Strasse in Wedding.
