The bed and breakfast room

The room with ca. 18 m² is situated in a flat with 160 m², furnished in a modern style and situated in the attic storey of an old building within the calm part of the Berlin district Wilmersdorf. In the neighbourhood you find the Schöneberg district. The room is suitable for 1-2 persons.

In the room there are a nice double bed (160 cm with undivided mattress), a television set, a video recorder. You have your own bathroom. The tiled bathroom with under-floor heating has a douche, a tub, a bidet and a toilette.

The breakfast is included in the price. You may use the kitchen (please agree with the host!) for making a snack.

From the roof terrace you have a wonderful view over the roofs of Berlin, well, at least over the roofs of Wilmersdorf…. As agreed before with your hosts, you may also use the roof terrace to stay there. The guestroom is suitable for wheelchair users, but there are 4 steps into the house and one step into the flat.

As agreed before, a baby bed is available.

The location

Berlin Wilmersdorf
The Berlin Wilmersdorf district is distinguished by representative buildings in an "wilhelminisch" (period of the German emperor Wilhelm) style and by the extensive Grunewald. Exclusive shops, night life, cafeterias, theatres and magnificent department stores, short: the real urban life characterize the Kurfürstendamm, situated between the districts Berlin Wilmersdorf and Berlin Charlottenburg, two districts that in the meantime have fused to only one. Like nowhere else, on the "Ku´damm" and in its side streets you find so many hotels and boarding-houses. Only few steps in the south of this boulevard, you leave the hectic urban atmosphere and move in a middle-class district that is also characterized by villas. Nevertheless there is no lack of restaurants and possibilities to go out. In the mirror tent of the "Bar jeder Vernunft" (in German this name includes a double sense: "pub of every sense" and "devoid of any sense") famous artists appear on stage with very various programs. Popular meeting places for the population of Berlin are the Fasanenplatz, the Ludwigkirchplatz or the Rüdesheimer Platz with their well-tended street cafeterias, trees and fountains. If you like a very noble atmosphere you will find it in the Fasanenstraße with its boutiques and galleries.

Berlin Schöneberg
Not only in a geographic sense Schöneberg is situated between the scene district Kreuzberg and the middle-class and noble Wilmersdorf district. Schöneberg itself is a living and tasteful area to go out, with its stylish pubs, cafeterias and restaurants. If you like to become acquainted with the district of Schöneberg, the best is to visit the Winterfeldtmarkt at the weekend, the perhaps most famous weekly market all over Berlin. Here you find fruits and vegetables of a high quality, flowers, cheese, household effects and clothes to buy. And afterwards, you meet people in one of the many cafeterias round about.

Transport connection

You have the possibility to leave your car directly and for free in front of the house, and actually you will always find a parking space.

• Fair in approx. 20 minutes; starting from Berliner Straße by underground (U9 direction Steglitz) to the Bundesplatz, then by S-Bahn (city-train) S47 direction Gesundbrunnen to Messe Nord / ICC
• Zoologischer Garten in approx. 9 minutes; direct by underground (U9 direction Osloer Straße) to the Zoologischer Garten
• Airport Berlin Tegel in approx. 32 minutes; starting from Berliner Straße by underground (U9 direction Osloer Straße) to Turmstraße, then by express bus TXL to the airport
• Berlin Potsdamer Platz in approx. 17 minutes; starting from Berliner Straße by underground (U7 direction Rudow) to the Yorckstrasse, then by S-Bahn (city-train) S1 direction Frohnau to Potsdamer Platz
• Berlin Alexanderplatz in approx. 29 minutes, starting from Berliner Straße by underground (U9 direction Osloer Straße) to station Zoologischer Garten, then by S-Bahn (city Train) to Alexanderplatz

You can park your car without parking fees in a street around the corner, and there is almost always a place to be found.
