Transport links The holiday house is very conveniently located - to the S-Bahn- station Lichterfelde East is approximately 800 meters or you can ride the bus 186 (direction Grunewald) to S-and U-Bahn station Rathaus Steglitz.

- Potsdamer Platz: approx. 32 mins; by bus to Rathaus Steglitz, then take the underground (U1 direction Frohnau) to Potsdamer Platz.
- Berlin trade fair, ICC: approx. 35 mins; by bus to Rathaus Steglitz, then take the underground (U9 direction Osloer Strasse) to Bundesplatz, then catch a train (S-Bahn- S46 direction Gesundbrunnen) to Messegelände
- Zoological Gardens: approx. 30 mins; by bus to Rathaus Steglitz, then take the underground (U9 direction Osloer Strasse) to Zoologischer Garten

The surrounding area
A few suggestions for what to see in the nearby vicinity: Botanical Gardens: The grounds were set up in 1897-1909, when the old Botanical Gardens in Kleistpark in Schöneberg (as it's known today) were deemed too small: roughly 18,000 different kinds of plant are to be found here in open land or conservatories. Opening times: weekdays- 8am- dusk, Sundays/Bank Holidays- 9-dusk. Botanical Museum: plant exhibition and specialised library with more than 60,000 volumes. |

Grunewald: Over 3,000 hectares of wooded area, which was formerly Teltowsche heathland with oak and pine trees, and was used originally used as a hunting ground, first by the Prince Elector and by kings, and which was convertes into a forest which now almost exclusively contains pine trees.
Hunting palace Grunewald: numerous additions and renovations followed on from laying the foundations in 1542. Today the palace is home to the only renaissance construction in Berlin, a collection of paintings, historical weapons and hunting equipment as well as a forest museum. It is open all year round from 10 am to dusk (closed Mondays)
Open air bathing in the Wannsee lake: The bathing lake, as it is now, was built at the end of the 20s: it holds approx 1000 metre long artifical sandy beach.

In Berlin - Lichterfelde, in a region of Berlin villas, you will find a cherished coachman's house at the back of an estate with a beautiful off-shore villa. There are a few dogs, horses and baroque ponies on the estate. Some of the horses are used for baroque riding and knight re-enactments. The house is very child-friendly. |

The holiday house
The house can accommodate up to a maximum of 11 people. The coachman's house offers 4 rooms, a large modern kitchen as well as a large bathroom with 2 showers, 2 wash-basins and 2 toilets.
Cable TV, stereo-system, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, toaster, crockery, bedding and hand towels are all provided.
The garden can be used in the summer and offers the opportunity to have barbecues/ other leisure activities or simply just to relax comfortably.
Also, your dog does not have to stay at home during your holiday- you can make arrangements with your hosts.

Breakfast is not offered
For your booking a deposit of at least 25 % is necessary and 75 % in cash when you arrive. Only last minute booking: you pay 100 % when you arrive.
Attention! At the moment the accommodation is only free on weekends.
In front of the door you can park your car. In agreement parking for free is also possible at the estate.
Low Emissions Zone (LEZ) – LEZ stickers
The city zone (A) within the S-Bahn-Ring (city train circle) is part of the LEZ. If you want to drive with your car in the Berlin city centre, inform yourself here: LEZ stickers for tourists. This accommodation is located outside the LEZ. You can leave your car here and travel with public transport into the city centre.
