The 
guest room  
     
 |   The 
 guest room (22 m²) for 1 - 3 guests is situated in the hostess' 3-room-apartment  
on the groundfloor. It has a nice wooden floor,  
wardrobes, a table and chairs. There is a good  
sofa-bed for 1-2 guests and a single bed. 
    The 
 bathroom with bathtub is shared with the hostess. You can also 
use:  WLAN / WiFi (with your own laptop). The Kitchen can be used on request. Water, tea and 
coffee are included in the price.  As this is a non-smoking apartment we ask not to smoke in the 
apartment, but you can smoke on the terrace.  
    The 
room ise not wheelchair-accessible as there is a step and a very narrow door 
to the bathroom.

Location  
    From 
here its only a few minutes on foot to the famous Kollwitzplatz in Berlin 
Prenzlauer Berg. To Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt  only takes
8 minutes by tram m². This is one of the main lines (metro-tram) and runs 24 hours 
a day.  
    On 
foot you reach all  corners of the Prenzlauer Berg - like... 
     
 -  the Kulturbrauerei 
(cinemas and various clubs) or
 
  - the 
Lychener Straße with more bars and cafés (by the way, there 
is a wonderful Cuban with good Mojito and a bar named "Weinstein" with 
Topinki - Czech invention for all of those that like garlic, plus the "Kegelheim" 
where you can play on the traditional Kegelheim - German 9-pin bowling in the 
cellar underneath the bar) or
 
  - the 
Knaackstrasse with the café Pasternak, a Russian restaurant with 
live music and just some steps away the "Hausbar", in which you can 
quench your thirst until 5am 
 
  - the 
Helmholtzplatz (the "old" heart of the Prenzlauer Berg) with 
the related Dunckerstrasse - a quarter with formerly many occupied houses
 
  - the 
Jewish cemetery (high-ranking personalities have their final resting place
here, for example: Max Liebermann, Ludwig Bamberger, Eduard Lasker, Giacomo Meyerbeer)

Oderberger Straße (.... more bars, cafés and bistros...) or

Friedrich Ludwig Jahn - sporting park with the Max Schmeling - hall

Parking 
Commercially controlled parking spaces are available in front of the house. This implies that you can only park for a fee and it is accessible from Mo-Sa 9am-12pm for 50 cent per half hour. A few streets away you find a multi-storey car park for less money. Or you can park about 500 meters from here, east of the Greifswalder Str. There is gratis parking. 
Low Emissions Zone (LEZ) – LEZ stickers
