The Surroundings

You are in the very heart of Berlin and thus in the most popular area among tourists.

Around the apartment the city pulsates; you may go there by public transport or just walk to get to it. It is the particular part of the city where many of the old buildings and more often than not the architectural core can still be seen. You'll discover Berlin's monumental stately buildings, for instance the stroller's boulevard "Unter den Linden".

Young and old cover their expenses: Just five minutes walk away there is the widely known Oranienburger Straße with countless restaurants, grand cafés, pubs, and clubs, the Synagogue, the Tacheles, an arts centre and many other special places, waiting to be discovered by you. A mere 600 metres away are the popular Hackesche Höfe, near the Hackescher Markt. Other sights within reach are the Museumsinsel, the Berliner Dom, the Lustgarten, the National Opera (Staatsoper) and the Rote Rathaus, seat of the Lord Mayor.

The apartment is available on the day of your arrival from 3 p.m and we would ask you to check out on the day of your departure by 10am. This is to make sure that the apartment can be prepared for the new guests.

The holiday apartment

High-quality cosy two-roomed flat on the first floor let with a huge sunny balcony near Hackescher Markt and Alexanderplatz, in the very middle of the city, nonetheless quiet location. Extraordinary fashion-stores, bars and restaurants, above that all important historical sights of the town in easy walking distance.

The holiday apartment is designed for 1 or 2 guests.

The balcony measures 6 m² and is fitted with teak furniture and plants. It is southwest facing.

In the kitchen you will find everything you desire and need for your stay: A fridge with freezing compartment, a cooker with an oven, cutlery and crockery, a spice rack and saucepans. In addition there is a dining and reading table with comfortable chairs.

The living room offers a big leather couch for relaxing, an easy chair and a stereo system for listening and enjoying.

You can make yourself at home in a double bed in the bedroom with TV (45 channels), wardrobe, desk and chairs.

You can use the WLAN / WiFi connection free of charge.

The bathroom is fitted with bathtub, washbasin, toilet and a fully automatic washer.

Traffic and public transport

The holiday apartment is very convenient for public transport: Metro station (U-Bahn, Underground) Weinmeisterstraße is less than a minute away, S-Bahn station Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt are roughly five minutes away. A Metro-tram going to Friedrichstraße stops in front of the house.

• he fair Berlin ICC within 25 min. approx.; from Weinmeisterstraße by the Metro (U8 direction Wittenau) to Gesundbrunnen, then by S-Bahn (S45 direction Schönefeld) to the fair
• the Zoologischer Garten in 16 min. approx.; from Hackescher Markt direct trains with the S-Bahn (S5, S7 or S75) to Zoologischer Garten
• the Tegel Airport in 35 min. approx.; from Weinmeisterstraße by the Metro (U8 direction Wittenau) to Osloer Straße, then changing to the bus 128 to the airport
• the Potsdamer Platz in 15 min. approx.; from Hackescher Markt by S-Bahn one station to Friedrichstraße, then changing to S-Bahn S1 (direction Potsdamer Platz)
