Three rooms in quiet location near the River Rhine in Cologne

Location

The semi-detached house is situated in Cologne directly on the river Rhine, but there is no danger of floods. The house has no roads passing in front of it, enabling a clear view of the Rhine River and its passing ships … the perfect start to a relaxing day. The Cologne Convention Centre as well as the city centre can be reached via public transport in just 10-12 mins. Not far from the Bayerwerk, the BayArena in Leverkusen and the film studios in Köln Mülheim. Direct train connections to Düsseldorf und Essen.

The rooms

The balcony room, with a view of the Rhine and cathedral, is on the 1st floor. It has 2 single beds, a TV, wardrobe, seating corner and a table with balcony chairs. .
The room with parquet is also on the 1st floor and has 2 single beds, a TV, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a couch.
The single room is on the 2nd floor and has a single bed, TV, cupboard, drawers and a wicker chair with table.

All rooms are non-smoking. Wireless internet is available free of charge. If requested, a dog may be brought along. Note that there are cats in the neighbourhood too.

The hostess speaks German, English and some French.

A small kitchen with dining room is located on the 2nd floor. It has a table and chairs, a fridge, 2 stove plates, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery, as well as coffee and a selection of teas. Information about Cologne and transport itineraries are laid out for your use.

The bathroom is on the 1st floor, has a bathtub, a window and is used solely by the guests. Fresh towels are provided.

We would please the guests not take a shower or cook in the night.

Possibilities for parking

You can not park the car in front of the house. The best possibility is in the Gisbertstrasse (only a 25 meters from the house).

Distances

The S-Bahn station Köln-Stammheim can be reached on foot. It is approx. 1,100 m away (walk down Möven Straße - away from the Rhine - and the S-Bahn is straight ahead). From there you can reach all four corners of the city.

Exhibition centre / main station / city centre / Cologne cathedral: approx. 20-25 minutes, from the S-Bahn station Köln-Stammheim only a few stops away on the S6 towards Hansaring

The district Stammheim is situated on the way to Leverkusen. The Cologne fair in the district Deutz, the Köln-Arena or the E-Werk are about 4 km away, the Bayerwerk about 2 km, the centre of Cologne about 7 km. You arrive on the A 3 (motorway) in direction of Oberhausen and you leave the A 3 at the exit "Köln-Mülheim". Then, you take the B8 in direction of Leverkusen until you reach the district Stammheim. The S-Bahn (city-train) S6 departs from the main station and after 4 stations arrives in Stammheim.

The S-Bahn S6 is going from the main station (4 stations to Stammheim). The S-Bahn is going to Düsseldorf and Essen.
