Location

The semi-detached house is situated directly on the river Rhine, but there is no danger of floods. The house is located near the exhibition centre and the city centre and it also only takes 15 minutes to get to the Bayer pharmaceutical company in Leverkusen. Cologne main station is only three stops away. There is no traffic in front of the house, therefore it is very quiet.

The rooms

The double rooms are on the first floor and are equipped with a cupboard, table and a chair. One room has a large double bed, the other room has two separated beds. The room with separated beds has a balcony facing the Rhineand the cathedral.

There is another smaller oom for 1 guest on the second floor. This room is equipped with one single bed, a small sofa and a table.

Both rooms have cable TV, but there is only one television for the rooms.

The tiled bathroom which is only used by guests has to be shared and has a bathtub.

We would please the guests not take a shower in the night.

Breakfast

Breakfast will be not prepared, but there is a fridge and a breakfast room for guests on the 2nd floor. In the fridge you will find butter, milk, marmelade, cheese and sausage. Further you find coffee machine, coffee, tea, muesli and bread.

You pay 25 % in advance and 75 % in cash when you arrive. Only last minute booking: you pay 100 % when you arrive. Arrival is possible from 4pm until 8pm.

Possibilities for parking

You can not park the car in front of the house. The best possibility is in the Gisbertstrasse (only a 25 meters from the house).

Distances

The S-Bahn station Köln-Stammheim can be reached on foot. It is approx. 1,100 m away (walk down Möven Straße - away from the Rhine - and the S-Bahn is straight ahead). From there you can reach all four corners of the city.

Exhibition centre / main station / city centre / Cologne cathedral: approx. 20-25 minutes, from the S-Bahn station Köln-Stammheim only a few stops away on the S6 towards Hansaring

The district Stammheim is situated on the way to Leverkusen. The Cologne fair in the district Deutz, the Köln-Arena or the E-Werk are about 4 km away, the Bayerwerk about 2 km, the centre of Cologne about 7 km. You arrive on the A 3 (motorway) in direction of Oberhausen and you leave the A 3 at the exit "Köln-Mülheim". Then, you take the B8 in direction of Leverkusen until you reach the district Stammheim. The S-Bahn (city-train) S6 departs from the main station and after 4 stations arrives in Stammheim.

The S-Bahn S6 is going from the main station (4 stations to Stammheim). The S-Bahn is going to Düsseldorf and Essen.
