Guest room in Prenzlauer Berg

A nice, spacious but nonetheless inexpensive room for 1-3 persons in a private residence, located in the middle of the legendary city-center neighborhood of
Berlin Prenzlauer Berg.

Despite being in the heart of the German capital the non-smoking apartment is very quiet. The building was constructed shortly after the turn of the century and redeveloped in the 70th. The apartment is on the 2nd floor.

Surrounding: Close by, there are cafes, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, lots of stores, banks, several movie theaters as well as the trendy scene around Kollwitzplace which is within walking distance.

The hostess is happy to have unconventional, young guests. She likes to show you around Berlin when she has enough time.

The rooms
There are two simple furnished guest rooms. A large room with a double-bed and a balcony (extra bed possible) and another room with two single beds with a view onto a green courtyard (extra bed possible).

There's a single shared bathroom and you are welcome to use the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped and there's a comfy breakfast nook.

The prices per night:
one person: 26 euros
two persons:38 euros
three persons: 50 euros

It costs 8 euros extra per person if you stay only one night. The hostess also does babysitting.

Location and transportation

The connection to public transport is very good. Just around the corner you can jump on the tram, which brings you to the Alexanderplatz in just a few minutes. A bit further on is the Museumsinsel, Hackescher Markt, Friedrichstrasse/Unter den Linden, Potsdamer Platz, Kurfürstendamm, Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten, the fair area and to the Olympiastadion.

Berlin Mitte Alexanderplatz, approx. 12 minutes, by tram line M4 direct to Alexanderplatz

Berlin Mitte Potsdamer Platz, approx. 25 minutes, by tram line M4 to Alexanderplatz, then go by underhround (U2 in direction Ruhleben) to Potsdamer Platz

Ostbahnhof, approx. 20 minutes, by tram line M4 to Alexanderplatz, then go by city train (S7 in direction Ahrensfelde) to station Ostbahnhof

station Zoologischer Garten, approx. 25 minutes, by tram line M4 to Alexanderplatz, then go by different lines of city train to station Zoologischer Garten

Fairground, fair Berlin, ICC, approx. 31 minutes, by tram line M4 to city train station Greifswalder Straße, then go by city train (S42 in direction Gesundbrunnen) to fair station Messe Nord / ICC

Airport Berlin Tegel, approx. 33 minutes, by tram line M4 to city train station Greifswalder Straße, then go by city train (S42 in direction Gesundbrunnen) to Beusselstraße, then you take the express bus line TXL to the Airport Berlin Tegel

Parking situation
If you come by car, it can take a little time to find a parking place, especially in the evening. Parking is free however.
