If you are looking to be right in the middle of bustling Berlin, then this apartment is perfect for you.

The Scheunenviertel (Barn quarter), previously known as Areal, is situated northwest of Alexanderplatz, not far from the historical centre of Berlin. It originally comprised of Torstrasse, Münzstrasse and Rosenthaler Strasse. The name derives from 1672, when Elector Friedrich Wilhelm released a fire protection regulation, and several barns storing flammable materials like hay were erected outside the city walls (Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz). It was colonized in 1700 under the name of Spandauer Vorstadt.

This sunny, tastefully decorated 2 room apartment on the 4th floor (without elevator) of the front part of a traditional Berlin house is less than a 10 minute walk from the well-known Hackeschen Höfen, the Oranienburger Strasse and the Museum Island.

The numerous galleries, restaurants and bars that Berlin is famous for can be found nearby. The location is also perfect for art-lovers, in that it lies parallel to Linienstrasse, where you will find gallery upon gallery. The well-known Kastanienallee (locally known as the „Casting Avenue“), offers unusual clothing in various exclusive designer boutiques.

The apartment

The spacious 60 m² two room apartment has a stylish bedroom with a 1,4m wide bed. Clothing and personal items can be hung on the clothes rail or placed in the drawers.

The living room has a comfortable couch, TV and radio as well as a large dining table, for up to 4 people.

The newly fitted kitchen is equipped with everything you need for not only simple, but also more complicated cooking.

The apartment also has a bathroom with bath.

On request, a WIFI-stick can be offered.

Smoking is allowed.
