Access

To the city centre (Hauptwache, Zeil, Römer etc.) with U2, 25 mins Bonames-Mitte and a 5 min. walk

Car: from the A5 freeway exit Bad Homburger Kreuz onto the A661 exit Nieder-Eschbach. Arnoldstr. is 5 mins from here.

From the house (including a walk) are:

• to Messe Frankfurt / Main in about 26 minutes, from Konrad-Duden-way to the bus 27 (direction Frankfurt Preungesheim) to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof mountain, then on to the S-Bahn (S6 toward South Station) Exhibition
• to Central Station in about 30 minutes, from Konrad-Duden-way by bus 27 (direction Frankfurt Preungesheim) to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof mountain, then take the S-Bahn (S6 Frankfurt South Station) to the central station
• to Frankfurt Airport in approximately 49 minutes from Frankfurt Bonarnes center with the underground (U2 direction Frankfurt South Station) to Frankfurt Main Station, then take the S-Bahn (S9 direction Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof) to the airport Frankfurt / Main

The location of the guest rooms in Frankfurt Nieder-Eschbach near Bonames

The accommodation lies in the north of Frankfurt and can comfortably be reached by car or with the U-Bahn in Frankfurt Nieder-Eschbach on the city border of Frankfurt Bonames (U-Bahn station Bonames-Mitte). The area is quiet but still offers quick access to the city centre. The public transport will bring you to the entrance of the Frankfurt Convention Centre in just 30 mins. Frankfurt and its attractions (Museum Pier, Römer, Zeil, River Main, Sachsenhausen – with its traditional apple cider bars etc.) can all be reached with the U-Bahn U2 to stop Hauptwache oder Theaterplatz in about 25 mins. If you plan to visit Nieder-Eschbach, then simply take a leisurely stroll. Night buses run from the city centre to the accommodation after the U and S Bahn hours.

The green belt of Frankfurt is nearby (along the Nidda Eschbach) and is perfect for jogging, walking, cycling or grilling. This is also where the famous Nidda cycling path passes through.

The health resort city of Bad Homburg has curing waters, a castle and many hiking trails in the Taunus (5km away with the U-Bahn U2).

The 2 guest rooms

Two guest rooms in a separate non-smoking apartment on the first floor of a single-family house. There is a large room for 2-3 guests (25 m²) equipped with 3 single beds, built in wardrobe, TV, armchair, a small table and 2 basket woven chairs.

There is also a smaller room for 1 guest (17 m²) equipped with a bed, wardrobe, TV, sitting corner (couch, table and wooden chair) as well as a desk with a chair.

There is a communal bathroom (shower and toilet) between both guest rooms, as well as a shared breakfast room with a table, chairs, microwave, 2 electric hobs, a coffee machine, kettle and sufficient crockery. You can prepare your own breakfast or cook a small meal. A supermarket is just 2 mins away.

Bed linen and towels are provided. Smoking is allowed in the garden. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. Parking is free of charge in front of the house in the residential road.

Your hosts

The hostess was born in Frankfurt. The host was born in Syria and has been living in Germany for over 45 years. Both are passionate travellers that have been to the East, South America, Africa and Asia many times. They are interested in learning about different cultures, countries and people.

Many guests from the University of Frankfurt have stayed for a few months in this accommodation, for e.g. an Indian guest professor together with his wife or 3 Egyptian students while writing their graduate degrees, as well as apprentices, engineers and workmen employed by local companies.

Now that the hosts have gone into pension and the children have moved out, they have plenty of time and space for their guests. After residing in many cities, they would like to share their love and preference of Frankfurt, this small metropolis with beautiful and interesting spots, with you. Simply ask your hosts..
