The apartment

The apartment is situated on the first floor of a three-storey family house. It is competely renovated and fully furnished with brand new beech furniture.

There are two rooms: the large room is 25 m² and contains two single beds, with the possibility of an extra bed. The small room (16 m²) has a single bed and a sofabad (160x190 cm).

Both rooms together can accommodate up to 5 people.
Also in the rooms, you will find a wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV cupboard, table and chairs.

In both rooms there is a television and a standing lamp. The larger room has access to the balcony which is furnished and naturally at the guests' disposal.

The bathroom contains a bathtub, which doubles up as a shower. The toilet, wash-basin and bathroom cabinet are all new.

The kitchen is fully fitted and complete with cooker, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. Smoking is permitted in the kitchen. Coffee, tea, sugar and cups are available to guests.

Since the hosts have two daughters, children are very welcome here!

There are two parking places on the premises, but more spaces are also possible.

Location

Maintal comprises four districts, each one lying directly in Main. At Main riverside you can enjoy pleasurable bike rides (and bike lanes are good for reaching Frankfurt city centre). There is also an indoor pool, open air pool as well as fitness centres and various types of restaurant.

The apartment is located in a peaceful residential area. It is only minutes away from the forest, where you can go to jog, walk, play mini-golf or feed the ducks at the lake- in any case, this is an ideal spot to relax after a stressful day.

Right nearby you will find the "Hessen-Center", a large shopping centre with over 70 shops.

From Maintal, it is only a few kilometres to Hanau, which is home to the German doll museum. We recommend day trips to Spessart, Oden forest, Taunus or Rheingau. The sanataria Bad Orb, Bad Homburg und Bad Nauheim are also close by, as are the old towns of Büdingen and Gelnhausen.

Transport links

Maintal's position is very convenient for transport. It only takes 25-40 mins by public transport to get to the centre, for the trade fair grounds for example. It is 3 mins from the apartment to the bus stop with a direct link to the underground line to Frankfurt. By car, you also have a direct connection to the A66 motorway with connection to the A5.

It's best to take public transport to the trade fair and central station. By car, it takes about 30 mins, outside of rush hour.

To the trade fair: approx 35 mins, 4 bus stops to Hessencenter,
then take the underground line 7 to Hauptwache,
alight here and change to underground line 4 to the trade fair 'Messe'
To central station: approx 25 mins with the regional railway service to 'Hauptbahnhof'
