The guest room on the ground floor of a multi-family house lies in Johanneskirchen, north east of Munich. Johanneskirchen is a part of the suburb, Munich Bogenhausen. The historical core of Johanneskirchen still maintains a village feeling, where farms surround the village chapel St. Johann Baptist from the 13 hundreds. The surrounding land includes the agriculturally used Johanneskirchener Mooses.

The accommodation lies in a very quiet residential area with a tram connection and is just 20 mins away from the train station. There is also a bus connection to the city centre. Guests will receive a tram and bus plan upon arrival.

A supermarket, bakery, drinks shop, pizza delivery service and a doctor‘s practice can be found in the vicinity. Excellent traditional Bavarian and international food can be enjoyed in the pub and beer garden about 10 minutes away.

Other activities in the area:

• 3 km: The St.-Emmeram-Bridge (frame bridge over the Isar river, north of Oberföhringer Stauwehrs which connects the island that is created by the Isar and middle Isar channel with the Hirschau – the northern part of the English Garden) and the beloved St. Emmerams mill (one of the loveliest beer gardens in Munich with an upper class atmosphere and a Bavarian style).
• 3 km: Bathing in Feringa lake (pebble lake with good water quality for the whole family, sunbathing area, 5-7m deep, 3 km man made shore).
• 3 km: Goetz Collection (internationally recognized contemporary art collection in Munich with temporary exhibitions. Visits permitted only with prior telephone reservation).
• 4 km: Besuch der Galopprennbahn Riem (internationale Pferderennen)
• 4 km: Visit the horse race track Riem (international horse races) 2, 2 km: Cosimawellen baths (the only wave baths in Munich, open daily from 7:30am to 11pm)

The private room

This 15 m² sized room has a sleeper couch (double bed), a wardrobe, table, 2 chairs and radio / cd player. The use of the bathroom and kitchen are shared with the host (1 person). Bed linen and towels are provided. Breakfast (5€ per person) can be taken in the living room / kitchen.

Non-smokers are preferred, but smoking on the balcony is permitted. We regret that pets are not allowed. The washing machine can be used at a charge. Wireless internet is included in the price. The apartment is suitable for disabled persons as it is on the ground floor and there is only 1 step to go up.
