Arrival

• With the car: follow direction Zentrum/ Hauptbahnhof
• From the airport: S1/ S8 to „Hackerbrücke“, then a 5 minute walk.
• With the train: from Hauptbahnhof a 12 minute walk, or 4 stops with the tram 18/19 to stop "Schrenkstrasse"

The location of the apartments in Munich

Friendly, private accommodation ideal for young people in Westend, fully renovated and newly decorated. The apartments are 25 and 17 m² in size, in Schwanthalerstrasse, on the ground floor leading to the quiet inner courtyard. 12 minute walk from main station or with the tram in 7 minutes.

Shopping: various bakeries, fruit and vegetable stores, as well as supermarkets around the block, for e.g. Feneberg in Ganghoferstrasse 6 or Tengelmann in Gollierstrasse.

Restaurants: there are many restaurants in Westend, all within walking distance. We recommend: Zur Schwalbe (Schwanthalerstrasse 149) for homely Bayern food, Stoa (Gollierstrasse 38) for pasta, grilled dishes and salads, Augustiner Bräustuben (Landsbergerstrasse 19) with its Bayern style, cosy, and right at the brewery with the world’s best beer, and also Das Sinans at Goetheplatz with huge, delicious stone oven pizzas!

Bars: within walking distance are: das Lenz (Pettenkoferstrasse 48), a stylish bar near to Wiesn (Oktoberfest). Go from Schwanthalerstrasse towards the city centre; turn right in St.-Paul-Strasse. Park Cafe (Sophienstrasse 7) is a comfortable lounge bar near to Stachus. By the Hauptbahnhof (main station) is Anna (Schützenstrasse 1) - a nice, light bar with a relaxed audience and good cocktails.

Sightseeing nearby: St. Paul Kirche, Bavariapark, Bavariastatue and Ruhmeshalle, Oktoberfest, Sendlinger Tor, Stachus, Marienplatz, Viktualienmarkt, traditional brewery "Augustiner".

Facilities: each apartment has 2 comfortable beds, fresh bed linen and towels, kitchenette with fittings, cooking plate and fridge, grill oven, dining table with 2 chairs, couch, separate bathroom with shower, TV, internet on request (wireless internet 5 €)

Up to 4 guests (in case of necessity 5 guests) can stay in the 2 apartments at the same time. The apartments are in the same house.

Dogs are welcome. Smoking is not allowed inside.

Bicycle: on request we can rent you a „Kronan“ Swedish cult bike, so that you can quickly reach every corner of the city. Rental charge is 10€per day.

Local public transport

Tram stop „Schrenkstrasse“ – out the door, go right, turn left in the first street: Ligsalzstrasse, turn left into Westendstrasse, right at Schrenkstrasse, the stop lies at the end of Landsbergerstrasse.

U-Bahn/ S-Bahn stop „Hackerbrücke“ - out the door, go right, turn left in the 2nd street Holzapfelstrasse to Landsbergerstrasse, then 50 m right and on the opposite street side into Grasserstrasse, that goes over to Hackerbrücke. The stops are under the bridge.

U-Bahn stop „Schwanthaler Höhe“ – out the door, go left, turn left at the 1st street, Ganghoferstrasse and continue to the end. The U-Bahn sign can be seen from far away.
