Location of room

Here you have the chance to stay in a quiet location by the river. Nevertheless, you are only 30 minutes away from the heart of Berlin and 27 minutes by S-Bahn to Potsdamer Platz. Here is where you will find the culture forum, Sony-Centre, new National Gallery, film museum, communications museum und Berlina-Palace. Pankow is now considered a 'happening' district with unique cultural and sporting opportunities. Everything the tourist in Berlin could which for is right here: Berlin's largest open air pool, the culture centre 'Kulturbrauerei', numerous parks and pubs, the Schönholz cenotaph, sports facilities as well as promenades. If requested, we will organise various leisure activities, such as: bowling/ skittles/ football/ volleyball/ swimming/ sauna/ solarium/ bike trips/ billiards/ discos/ evening barbequeues/ theatre and concert outings.

The hostel

The hostel team will take care of you in a familiar setting. Catering services (packed lunches, half-board, full-board) are provided on request for a small fee. Breakfast, fo example costs 3 euros.

The hostel functions like a backpacker's hostel. The rooms and sanitary installations are all eqipped to a basic standard. The bathrooms are used communally. Microwave, fridge and kettle are available in rooms. There are 6rooms in total, each one accommodating 2-4 people. Smoking is allowed in the rooms. When the weather's nice, you are of course free to use the barbeque area.

Breakfast, 4 euros per guest, charge for guests staying one night +4 euros per person. Packed lunches, half-board and full-board can also be booked.

We are happy for you to bring your dog. Nearby, there is a park and an area for dogs to run in.

The bus stop is approx 200 m away. From there you can catch buses 122 and 155. It is only approx 8 min walk to the train (S-Bahn) station Wilhelmsruh. From here, you can get to:

Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof): approx. 33 mins, by train (S-Bahn)- S1 Direction Wannsee- to Nordbahnhof, then take bus number 245- direction Zoologischer Garten- to Hauptbahnhof

Berlin trade fair: approx. 39 mins ; by train (S1 direction Wannsee) to Gesundbrunnen, then take the train (S42 direction Westkreuz) to Messe Nord / ICC

Zoological Gardens: approx 30 mins; by bus number 122 to Residenzstrasse, then take the underground (U8 direction Hermannstrasse) to Osloer Strasse, then take the underground (U9 direction Steglitz) to Zoologischer Garten

Berlin centre Potsdamer Platz: approx. 27 mins, by train (S1 direction Wannsee) direct to Potsdamer Platz

Berlin centre Alexanderplatz: approx. 28 mins , by bus number 122 to Residenzstrasse, then take the underground (U8 direction Hermannplatz) to Alexanderplatz

Berlin Tegel airport: approx. 42 mins; by bus number 122 to Kurt-Schumacher-Platz, then take bus number 128 to Flughafen Berlin Tegel
