The apartment

The 39 m² apartment is your host’s private apartment, he lives in a nearby property during your stay and can therefore always be contacted. The apartment is thus not suitable for people who are looking for a sterile “holiday apartment", but ideal for people who wish to get to know Berlin in a great location and who don’t want to pay hotel prices for this.

The apartment has two rooms, a simple kitchen and a small bathroom with shower, WC and wash-basin.

In the living room there is a television, a dining area and a piano which can be played at reasonable hours of the day. The simple kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your stay: fridge, cooker and coffee machine.

This apartment is suitable for 1-3 guests.

As this apartment is a non-smoking one, you should ONLY smoke in the kitchen and air the room sufficiently. Pets are not permitted.

Minimum stay is 2 nights.
Breakfast is not offered

For your booking a deposit of at least 25 % is necessary and 75 % in cash when you arrive. Only last minute booking: you pay 100 % when you arrive.

The situation

The apartment is in a quiet, friendly building, the windows face the courtyard. The building is located between Ostkreuz, Warschauer Strasse, Stralau and Treptower Park. From here you can start off on a comfortable steamboat trip – the tours go through Berlin or to the surrounding area. If you take the S-Bahn (Warschauer Strasse) to Alexanderplatz or the Zoologischer Garten, you don’t have to change once.

You are right in the middle of the two trendy districts of Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg – this means that you don’t have to take a taxi after visiting some bars (e.g. in the Simon-Dach-Strasse), you can just walk home!

It is no problem to get a parking place which is free of charge.

Low Emissions Zone (LEZ) – LEZ stickers
The city zone (A) within the S-Bahn-Ring (city train circle) is part of the LEZ. If you do not have a sticker for the LEZ of Berlin city centre, you can find information here, on how to get LEZ stickers for tourists.

• Station Zoologischer Garten: in approx. 30 minutes; by bus (line 142) to Warschauer Strasse (or 10 Minuten on foot), then go by city train (S-Bahn) S7 or S9 to station Zoologischer Garten
