The holiday apartment

Overlooking Berlin at night is your bright, quiet south-facing apartment with a small balcony and electric grill for Candle-Light-Dinner. It boasts two sofa beds (155 x 200 and 170 x 200 cm) accommodating up to four.

The kitchen is well equipped with hot plate, microwave, fridge, utensils, toaster and coffee machine. The bathroom is tiled with a bath and bidet.

It is furnished with modern facilities including hairdryer, towels, bed linen, TV, video, radio, cassette and CD.

A secured parking space directly in front of the house can be rented.

Lietzensee

Charlottenburg can be very romantic in the evening by the shine of the old gas lanterns. The people there are multicultural, students, filmmakers, musicians, writers and other artists as well as yuppies and foreigners. They all live in peace together, racism cannot be discerned.

The apartment "High Eden", has fabulous round views across the rooftops of Berlin. The flat is situated on the eleventh floor (lift available) directly on the edge of the picturesque Lietzensee Lake with its romantic park. There is also another apartment with similar facilities on the tenth floor.

The district Charlottenburg:

Charlottenburg is a district of former West-Berlin. It offers an attractive and unique mix of fine arts, culture, and joie de vivre as well as interesting buildings from the past 300 years.

Almost 1/4 of Charlottenburg consists in leisure and sports places as well as many parks. One can stroll to one's heart's content, rummage through shopping streets, either in a tranquil or rather chic manner. In Charlottenburg's center you'll find the "Schlosspark" and the "Schloss-Straße". The latter was the first street of the district. It leads straight to the castle naming it, the "Schloss Charlottenburg".This street leads to all the district's important museums and galleries, all within walking distance. Connoisseurs of fine arts will be delighted. In the middle of Schloss-Str., lined with old trees, people play "boule" almost all year round, that quiet French game, which requires calculation.

You can also scout the old town path ("Altstadtpfad") with its buildings from the past 300 years, go to the "Deutsche Oper", one of the three opera houses, or visit the countless pubs and restaurants, sit there in the front garden or on the sidewalk like in the good old times or have a meal at the Italian who has many awarded stars for its cuisine.

Starting from Theodor-Heuss-Platz in the West End, Reichsstrasse, the Kaiserdamm and Bismarckstrasse invite you to take a stroll around the shops. Small shops and a slightly calmer pace almost turn shopping into relaxation. The broad sweep of the Kurfürstendamm (53 metres wide) contains the boutiques of Europe's best know fashion designers, as well as many different choices including art and crafts, cinema, theatre or vaudeville, cheap and cheerful "currywurst" or gala dinner.
