There are no private parking spaces available on the site, but free parking is possible on the street. There is plenty of parking lot space available.

The house

Risking a trip to Berlin with kids? Want somewhere where the children can be safely tucked up when the Berlin nightlife beckons?

Here the kids stay for free and can feel at home with others their own age. In this housing-project, living space for single parents and families is provided with the following aims:

Quality of life with the children growing up like brothers and sisters, environmental awareness and responsibilities.

The guest-apartment

We offer a inexpensive 60 m² holiday apartment on the 2nd floor (with lift) with two rooms, primarily for single parents and families who wish to visit Berlin.

In both rooms you will find a big double bed (1-2 guests) and a pull out sofabed (for 1-2 adults or 1-2 little people). There is also a child`s bed.

The holiday apartment has a cooking-corner with basic crockery and cutlery. It has its own shower and WC. Handtowels and bedlinen are provided and there is a washingmachine.

The Perleberger Strasse, on which is the house is located, is relatively busy but the windows are well sound proofed.

Surrounding the guest-apartment

Downstairs in the house you will find a common room (café), which has a view of the playground and is used by all residents and guests as a meeting point and café.

You can prepare breakfast yourself or go to one of the many breakfast-cafés nearby.

Public transportation to the guest-apartment

some art The holiday apartment is only 1-2 min (300 m) walk from the U-Bahn Birkenstrasse (underground) and about 10 min from S-Bahn Bellevue und S-Bahn Westhafen (city-train). There is bus stop right outside the front door.

Important sights like the Kurfürstendamm, Unter den Linden, Friedrichstraße, Brandenburger Tor, Potsdamer Platz are not far away. You are only a few minutes bus ride away from Oranienburger Straße, the Scheunenviertel, Friedrichstraße or the next city train (S-Bahn Bellevue S3,S5,S7,S75,S9) or underground (U-Bahn Birkenstraße U9).

Advice for whealchair-users: This accommodation is not ideally suitable for wheel-chair users

The path behind the house has no steps, however it is not very easy to open the garden gate. There is a step (10 cm) at the front door of the apartment, but a ramp can be laid down here. The narrowest door is the bathroom door: 69 cm, otherwise the lift door and main apartment door are around 90 cm. The bathroom itself is relatively narrow. There is however a disabled WC on the ground floor which you can use.
