Planning a trip to Cologne? Good Idea! Cologne is one of the nicest cities in Germany. But be careful: you could fall in love with it. And you needn't stay in an expensive and inpersonal hotel on the outskirts of the city. Stay instead in a cheap bed and breakfast with nice private room, right in the city center with view of the dome. If you stay in one of our guest rooms you will feel right at home and will certainly want to come back again.
You will sleep in a comfortable bed and get a delicious breakfast for a good kick-start to your day.
We have some travel guides, Cologne-literature, info-pamphflets, information about public transportation and citymaps for you so that you can easily familiarise yourself with our city. Of course we will also give you some tips for more information - just ask when you get here.
No matter what your reason for the journey (visiting one of the many international fairs, a musical or a theatre, shopping in galleries and designer shops, taking part at congresses or seminars, visiting friends or acquaintances, a stop-over on a longer journey or simply just to have fun) - we offer the appropriate room in private accommodation for your trip to Cologne.
The flat
This 5 roomed apartment lies near to Barbarossaplatz, at Salierring, on the 2nd floor (with lift) of a residential and business house from the 1960`s. There are 2 rooms, each 14m² in size which both lead to the courtyard, and whose guests share the guest bathroom. The other 3 rooms are used by the host, who has access to a separate bathroom. A high quality Tretford carpet is laid out and therefore, smoking is not allowed and the apartment is not suitable for pets. Please respect these restrictions for the sake of the other guests. The guest rooms can be separately locked, have blinds and wireless internet. The kitchen is fully equipped and can be used by guests, who are requested to leave the kitchen in the condition it was found in (please do not use after 10pm). Linen and towels are provided free of charge. The beds will be freshly made before the arrival of a new guest.
We also provide maps, public transport plans, Cologne city guides and literature about the city. Check-in time on arrival day is between 2pm and 10pm, checkout time on departure day is 12pm. For other times, please ask (if there are no other reservations or the next guest only arrives late).

The apartment in situated right in the city of
Cologne in Salierring, there are very good public transport links, but you can not park your
car for free nearby - though there are several places where you could leave your
car for a fee. 1. Rodonda, Salierring 32, 2. Kaisers, Hohenstauffenring 29 3. Bauhaus, Trierer Str. 12, (9-20 h)
Free parking:
1.) About a 15 minute walk from the apartment: large parking place next to the Uni-Center (corner of Luxemburger Str. and Universitätsstrasse), however, limited on Saturdays due to flea market.
2.) In the surrounding streets, only in the evening hours from 6pm-9am and the whole of Sunday, if places are available.
