Guest room - Private accommodation

The host's apartment is approx 74 m² and is located on the fourth floor (no elevator) of a beautiful old 'art-nouveau' building in Hamburg Eimsbüttel. The guest room is 20 m² and has an attractive west-facing balcony. The shower and the toilet are shared with the host. The kitchen is unfortunately not at guests' disposal, with the exception of the refrigerator- with permission. Your host however will gladly prepare your breakfast for you to enjoy in the decorative breakfast-room.

In the guest rooms, you will find a single bed, a sofabed (0.9 x 2.0 m) as well as a wardrobe. Children up to the age of 6 can sleep in the parents' bed free of charge. Naturally, you are free to enjoy the beautiful balcony. Guests are welcome to smoke on the balcony but are asked to refrain from doing so inside the apartment building.

Location in Hamburg

Hamburg Eimsbüttel lies in west Hamburg and is a trendy, if not somewhat alternative, district. It is located between the upper class area of Eppendorf and the completely eccentric district of Altona. It is particularly popular among the young and the upper classes. All over the city you will find beautiful old buildings with high ceilings, plastering and amazing facades.

The private accommodation is conveniently located for transport. The Stellingen motorway junction is approx 2.5 km away. Hamburg Eimsbüttel's main shopping street 'die Osterstraße' is approx 5 minutes away, as is the underground station of the same name. The nearest bus stop 'Armbruststrasse' is approx 3 minutes away.

Guests with a car could put it to good use if they wish to explore Hamburg. However, parking in Eimsbüttel is not especially easy, particularly before 7pm. Parking is possible in the carpark at Karstadt or alternatively you can look a little further afield for a space.

Hamburg central station in approx. 18 mins, take bus number 183 or 283 (destination: Altona) from Armbruststrasse until Holstenstrasse then take the city train (S-Bahn) line S31 (destination Harburg Rathaus) until Hamburg Hauptbahnhof
Hamburg trade fair/CCH, approx 16 minutes, take bus number 183 or 283 (destination: Altona)
until Holstenstrasse, then take the S-Bahn S31 train (destination Harburg Rathaus) until Station Dammtor (Messe/CCH)
Hamburg airport, approx. 44 minutes, take the 'schnellbus' (fast bus)- line M4- from Apostelkirche bus stop (destination Wildacker) until Volksparkstrasse, then take the bus on line 39 (destination Wandsbek) to the airport
