The apartment in Berlin Mitte / Kreuzberg
This 62 m² apartment has modern furnishings and is the only apartment on the 9th floor (with lift). There are 2 rooms: a bedroom with French double bed (1,40 x 2,00 m) and TV; and a living room with a desk, from where you can enjoy the view out the window. Feel free to use the 8m² terrace.
You can store your clothes in the hallstand, the two commodes with drawers and the wardrobe at the entrance.
There is a fully equipped kitchen (stove, microwave and fridge) and a large, tiled bathroom with bath. A washing machine is available. The apartment has also a fold-away bed and is suitable for 1-3 guests.
The host speaks English.
The apartment is non-smoking, but smoking on the terrace is permitted.
The location
Potsdamer Platz, which you can see from the window, is within walking distance, about 1000 m away.
The Deutsche Technikmuseum Berlin is about 800 m away and is 25000 m² in size. Visitors can discover everything about aviation, naval and rail travel, cars and motorcycles, and even antique home technology. Activities take place in nearly every area of the museum. The function of many historical machines and models is shown and explained. Visitors can for e.g. print, produce paper, grind wheat, or accompany the suitcase production.
About 700 m away is the Jewish Museum, with permanent and temporary exhibitions, as well as comprehensive archives. Here you can learn everything about 2000 years of Jewish history in Germany.
Even the Brandenburger Tor and the Gendarmenmarkt with playhouse, German and French cathedrals can be reached on foot (about 1200 m away).

The apartment is very central. The city train station (S-Bahnhof) - Anhalter Bahnhof and the underground (U-Bahnhof) – Kochstrasse are about 200 m away. From there,
- den Potsdamer Platz in Berlin is a 10-15 minute walk. Alternatively, the city train (S2) or bus M41 from station, Anhalter Bahnhof, takes 2 minutes to Potsdamer Platz
- Unter den Linden is a 15-20 minute walk away, or a 4 minute ride with the city train (S2) from Anhalter Bahnhof
- The
famous Friedrichstrasse with its cafès and exquisite businesses is only
a 3 minute walk away.

The transport connection is ideal.
The S-Bahnhof (city-train), Anhalter Bahnhof is about 2-3 minutes or 200 m away. The nearest subway station is Kochstrasse (about 200 m, line U6) and Mohrenstraße (about 600 m, line U2).
With the U2, you can travel to Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten or Alexanderplatz in 10 minutes. This passes interesting areas like Charlottenburg (Kudamm), Schöneberg, Mitte and brings you directly to Prenzlauer Berg.
The U6 takes you to rest of Kreuzberg and in 3 minutes to Bahnhof Friedrichstraße, one of the biggest transfer stations for undergrouns, city trains, trams and buses.
The airport can be reached in 40 minutes, and the next long-distance train station is 10 minutes away.
