The
situation of the bed and breakfast
The rooms are close to the Isar River (approx. 100 m) and it's not far to the "Deutsches
Museum". From here one can walk to the Nockerberg and enjoy the Paulaner
Beer Garden. The
city centre of Munich is also very close by and offers such attractions
as the Marienplatz, the pedestrian zone, the Viktualienmarkt (food market), the
old town hall, the "Rindermarkt" (cattle market), the Toy Museum, the
"Stadtmuseum" (city museum), the Bavarian State Opera, the Hofgarten,
the Odeonsplatz and the luxury goods of the Maximilianstrasse. Sendlinger Tor
- the gateway to the old city is one underground stop away (around 15 minutes' walk). It is roughly a 300 m walk to the Fraunhoferstrasse underground station (U1 and U2) - simply cross the Isar and there you are. From there, the Munich central railway station is only 2 stops away (about 5 minutes). The Theresienwiese, where the Oktoberfest is held is 3 underground stops away (about 10 minutes). You can go straight through to the Munich exhibition centre in 17 minutes without changing trains. |
