The location
The art decot building is very central (Leipzig-Mitte) in a quiet side street in Waldstraßenviertel only 600 m from the main railway station. Waldstraßenviertel is one of the better areas of Leipzig. The flat is at the first floor (elevator) and you need only 5 min walk to the Altstadt (Old town).
So you are in walking distance for shopping, at the tram, at pubs and elegant restaurants as well as in Leipzig's nightlife.
Leipzig Zoo and the big park Rosenthal- the green lung of Leipzig- is at 400 meter distance. Recreation and sport are possible at walking distance.
The rooms
are in a large flat (130 m²) where also your host lives. You share the bathroom with the host, but an additional WC used by the host is there. Everything is new made and the apartment hat nice parquet.
double-bed-room: 17 m² for up to 2 guests with balcony, television, radio and armchairs, there is no extra bed possible. (Its the large room with a sleepingsofa than)
or
two-room-suite/studio: you rent 37 m² studio which has a bedroom
with a sleepingsofa (extra guest bed possible) a livingroom with balcony facing
to the south, furniture, TV, wardrobe, armchair, desk.
You share the bathroom with the host.
Please do not smoke in the guest rooms, you can use the balconies for smoking.
public transport /connections
1 stop by tram or eight minutes walking to the main railway station/shuttle to the airport and five minutes from the old town hall and all sighseeings in the center.
It takes you 15 minutes by tram no. 16 from main railway station to the Leipzig fair. You are very fast also by going by car to the fair, your host will give you any necessary help or information. (important data for Leipzig fairs see down this page).
Additional information about Leipzig plublic transpotation see http://www.lvb.de. Please by your ticket for the tram in advance, there is no possibility in the tram!
Parking
In front of the door you can park but it costs from 9 am to 6 pm (30 min 30 cent, 1 hour 60 cent, 1.5 hours 1 euro, 2 hours 1.50 euro 3 hours 2.50 euro; each further hour +1 euro), you can pay with coins.
Parking your car in daytime for free is only further away possible. Ask your host for help.
