The apartment

The apartment is on the 4th floor (with lift) very close to the governmental district and only 5 minutes from the central station (Berlin Hauptbahnhof).

The 37 m² and bright apartment has modern furniture and is, despite its central location, very quiet and suitable for up to 4 people.

There are two single beds in the room; up to two additional beds can be put up on request. The additional beds are more suitable for children or for adults who are not be very demanding. In addition to this there is a dining-table and a television.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and eating (cooker, fridge, coffee machine, pots and pans, crockery as well as towels etc.). Your have your own modern bathroom with hairdryer, bathtub and possiblity to have a shower.

From the balcony you can see the quiet south facing courtyard. The apartment is a nonsmoker apartment, but you can smoke on the balcony.

The surrounding like Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate and the new central station

It is only a 5-minute walk to Berlin's central station (Berlin Hauptbahnhof); the house is located very close to the governmental district. You will be able to discover enough nightlife and the famous sights of Berlin around here. Only 70 m from there is a very good restaurant with summer-garden and on the other side of the street is a supermarket (open from Mo-Sa 7:00 to 20:00)

Only 1200 m to the Reichstag (home of Bundestag = German parliament) and the Brandenburg Gate. The Gate was the scene of much celebration while the Wall cam down.

Public transportation

The apartment is conveniently located as regards public transport facilities – you can reach several underground and S-Bahn stations on foot within 5 minutes. For example, central station of Berlin (Hauptbahnhof Berlin) and the S-Bahn station Bellevue are both approx. 700 m away. From there you can easily reach all the districts of Berlin; and the Berlin busses run all through the night for nocturnal revellers.

You can reach:

• central station of Berlin / Hauptbahnhof : in apparox. 4 minutes; with the expres bus TXL (Airport Berlin Tegel) from station Alt Moabit / Rathenower Straße to the central station or on foot approx. 700 m.
• the fairground Berlin in apparox. 26 minutes; by expres bus from station Alt Moabit / Rathenower Strasse to the station Beusselstrasse, then by city train (S-Bahn) to station Messe Nord / ICC
• the station Zoologischer Garten: either by bus 245 from station Alt Moabit / Rathenower Strasse direct (approx. 22 minutes) or by bus 245 to the station Turmstrasse, then by underground (U9) to station Zoologischer Garten (approx. 12 minutes)
• the Potsdamer Platz in 17 minutes; by bus line 187 (direction Lankwitz) to station "Nordische Botschaften/Adenauer-Stiftung", then by bus 200 (direction Prenzl.Berg, Michelangelostr.) to Potsdamer Platz
• Unter den Linden / Brandenburger Tor: approx. 13 minutes, by expres-bus TXL (direction Alexanderplatz)
• airport Berlin Tegel: approx. 22 minutes by expres bus TXL
