The location in Cologne

The apartment is right in the heart of the city, about 120 m from Chlodwigplatz (the most important travel intersection in the south of the city), in a private room on a quiet side street.

At the entrance of Severinstrasse (200 m away), lies Severintorburg, the historical city gate. Local Kölsch bars, authentic student pubs, Italian, Spanish and French specialty restaurants, as well as a big-city shopping mile can be found in the area.

Taxi, bus or train will bring you quickly into the city. Just a short walk away, lies the Volksgarten (public park), where you can enjoy a relaxing walk.

The guest room is in a 3 room apartment of 60 m².

The furnishing of the guest room

Your guest room is 12 m². There is a wardrobe, shelves, linen cupboard, wall lined with shelf units, little table, chair and single bed. An extra matress can be provided for a 2nd person for up to one week. Use of the Wi-Fi is free of charge.

The bathroom is shared with your hostess.

You can use the kitchen to prepare your breakfast in arrangement with the hostess. Linen and towels are provided.

Your hostess is a non-smoker, but you does not mind if you smoke a few cigarettes in your room.

Your hostess speaks German, English, French and Spanish.

The room is better suited to professionals and congress visitors than children. The flat is not suitable for disabled persons (2nd floor - no elevator). Pets are not allowed here and the parking situation is not one of the best.

Public transportation trough Cologne

Station Cologne Chlodwigplatz (tram 6, 15, 16, 17) is within 3-5 minutes walking distance and the some busstops Rolandstraße in 2-45 minutes.

From there you reach

• fairground Cologne - 20 minutes from Rolandstraße by bus 132 to Heumarkt and than by tram 1 to Deutz/Messe
• fairground Düsseldorf - in about 80 minutes by tram and regional train
• airport Köln / Bonn (Cologne / Bonn) - in about 40 minutes from Chlodwigplatz by tram 16 to the main station and than with the regional train to the airport
• airport Düsseldorf - in about 60 minutes by tram and regional train
