The guest room in Berlin Tempelhof

This non-smoking guest room is on the 4th floor (with a lift) of a multi-family house. It is an attached apartment with a private bathroom and a separate entrance. The kitchen cannot be used, but breakfast is included and you can make a cup of tea or coffee in your room. The room also has a radio, TV, a double bed and is suitable for 1-2 guests. You are welcome to use the host's washing machine.

The host not only speaks German, but English, Spanish and French as well.

Parking

Parking is generally not a problem, although sometimes scarce. Alternatively, you can rent a parking space in the underground garage for 3 Euro per night from the host. Otherwise, for e.g. Gässnerweg has a large, free of charge parking area.

Low Emissions Zone (LEZ) – LEZ stickers
The city zone (A) within the S-Bahn-Ring (city train circle) is part of the LEZ. If you want to drive with your car in the Berlin city centre, inform yourself here: LEZ stickers for tourists. This accommodation is located outside the LEZ. You can leave your car here and travel with public transport into the city centre.

The suburb of Tempelhof-Schöneberg in Berlin

Berlin Tempelhof is south of Berlin's centre. The U-Bahn (subway)Station Kaiserin Augusta Allee (just 3 minutes away), enables quick and easy access to the attractions of Berlin.

For e.g. the U6 travels to:
Hallesches Tor Station, near to the Jewish museum,
Kochstraße, near to Checkpoint-Charlie,
U-Bahnhof Stadtmitte crosses Unter den Linden,
travels on to Friedrichstraße,
and Oranienburger Tor, where the famous Oranienburger Strasse in Mitte has many bars, cafes and the unusual Tacheles.

The M46 - a 24 hour bus travels to Berlin Schönberg (for e.g.Motzstrasse ). Walk 500 m northwards to Berlinickeplatz (or 1 stop on bus 246 or night bus N84) and it is just an 18 minute trip to Schöneberg.

Within a few metres are big supermarkets like Lidl and Aldi, as well as a few restaurants. Recommended are the Cafe Charlotte on the corner of Attilastrasse with an „All you can eat and drink“ breakfast buffet from 9am to 2pm for just 5,95 Euro and a daily „All you can eat“ evening buffet from 6pm to 10pm also for just 5,95 Euro.

If you stay only one night there is an extra charge of 4 euro per person. Reduction: Every 7th night is free of charge.
Children up to 3 years stay for free in parents' bed.
