The guest room with private bathroom

We have a spacious non-smoking guest room (28 m²) in 12623 Berlin Mahlsdorf / Nord available to rent. It is on the lower level, with 4 big windows, a desk and a double bed. A modern blow-up mattress for an adult or for 2 children can also be set up.

Upon arrangement, an extra room (16 m²) with a double bed is available, so that up to 5 adults and 1 child can be accommodated.

Both rooms have under floor heating and TV. Internet usage can be arranged.

The modern bathroom with under floor heating, toilet, shower, basin and towel heater is available solely for the use of the guests. A corner with a built-in kitchen (and utensils), fridge-freezer, 2 cooker stove, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and dining table can be used to prepare a snack for breakfast or dinner. Bed linen and towels are included in the price.

Parking

You can park your car on the property to unload and load your luggage. Otherwise, there are sufficient parking places on the quiet road Hermelinweg.

Low Emissions Zone (LEZ) – LEZ stickers
The city zone (A) within the S-Bahn-Ring (city train circle) is part of the LEZ. If you want to drive with your car in the Berlin city centre, inform yourself here: LEZ stickers for tourists. This accommodation is located outside the LEZ. You can leave your car here and travel with public transport into the city centre.

Pets are not allowed. Smoking is only permitted in the garden and not in the house.

The area Berlin Mahlsdorf

Our detached house lies in a very quiet, green suburb on the outskirts of Berlin. The connection to the freeway Autobahn Berliner Ring (exit Marzahn) is about 5-10 mins away. Bus, U-Bahn (subway), S-Bahn and tram are nearby. (It takes about 40 mins to get to Alexanderplatz).

The gardens of the world in Marzahn are a highlight of this area.

The city centre, Helle Mitte of Hellersdorf is recommended for very good shopping.

Your hosts in Berlin

We're a friendly, open and uncomplicated guest family. We love a good, traditional meal, enjoy cooking and have a favourite pub that we highly recommend.

Volker (born 1961) has worked as a professional fireman in Berlin for 25 years and has a good knowledge of the city. Angela (born 1961) works as a cleaning lady.

We built this house 10 years ago and designed its lovely, well-cared-for garden which is also one of our hobbies. The room became free once our son (born 1983) moved out. Now, we look forward to having guests in our home.

If you stay only one night there is an extra charge of 3 euro per person. Every 5th night is free.
Children up to 14 years old pay +10 Euro per person.
Minimum-stay New Year's Eve: 4 nights
Minimum-stay Easter, Pentecost, Marathon: 3 nights.
